Legal and privacy

Privacy Policy

How IT POWERS handles information you provide through this website and the limited Google authorization used for lead notifications.

Last updated: 27 August 2026

Who we are

IT POWERS AND SERVICES LTD provides power, internet, security and technology products and services in Nigeria. This policy applies to information handled through https://itpowersltd.com.

Information you choose to provide

When you send a quote request or contact enquiry, we may receive your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address, city and state, customer type, preferred contact method, enquiry or quote type, answers to relevant requirement questions, additional notes and approved campaign-attribution details.

Some fields depend on the type of help you select. We ask for information needed to understand and respond to the request; please do not include passwords, payment-card details or other unnecessary sensitive information.

How we use enquiry information

We use submitted information to respond to enquiries, understand requirements, prepare or discuss quotations, provide requested support, follow up on legitimate requests, protect the forms from misuse, and maintain appropriate business records.

Gmail delivery and Google user data

After server-side validation, our lead-submission service can use the Gmail API to send the enquiry as a notification through the approved IT POWERS Gmail account. Ordinary website visitors do not sign in with Google for this function.

The application requests only https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send. This authorization is used only to send website enquiry notifications and, if enabled in the future, limited acknowledgement messages.

The application does not request permission to read or search the mailbox, read email history, modify or delete messages, access Gmail contacts, or download mailbox content. It does not read a visitor's Gmail account. IT POWERS does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will follow the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Analytics and campaign attribution

The website architecture supports non-sensitive conversion events such as page path, content type or identifier, call-to-action placement, quote type, quote step and approved campaign attribution. Customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, addresses and free-text requirements are excluded from analytics events.

A production analytics service is not currently activated in the central business configuration. This implementation does not currently set marketing cookies. If those practices change, this policy and any required choices or notices should be updated first.

Sharing and service providers

We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by infrastructure and communication providers needed to operate the website and deliver an enquiry. The current lead-delivery architecture uses Google and Gmail for server-side notification delivery. No CRM, database, Google Sheets lead store or marketing platform is part of the current Version 1 lead path.

Security and data minimisation

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including client and server validation, automated-form protections, rate limiting, duplicate-request protection, context validation, input sanitisation, server-side credential handling and exclusion of personal information from analytics. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure.

Retention

Enquiry information should be kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to address the request, meet legitimate business needs, handle disputes and satisfy applicable legal obligations. A formal retention schedule remains a business and legal decision requiring approval.

Your choices and privacy enquiries

You may ask about the information you submitted or request an appropriate correction or deletion, subject to applicable legal and business-record obligations. Email itpowersltd@gmail.com. We will review requests in line with applicable Nigerian data-protection requirements, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 where it applies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website, providers or data practices change. The date above will identify the current published version.
